WOW, how much did that suck??? I was expecting a lot from Overeem against Werdum. Not only did I come away unimpressed, I'm not even sure he won the fight. I can make a very good case for Werdum winning rounds 1 and 3 while Undereem won the 2nd. Just a very blah showing for the next big thing. Is this really the #1 HW in the world Bas has been selling for a year now, sorry, I can't buy it and if I had, I would be demanding a refund. Is this the guy that should be challenging the UFC HW at the first chance, sorry, not buying that either. This was a crap showing no matter how I look at it and not just by Undereem, Werdum was just as much a joke in this fight with his best Aoki impersonation. There was not a winner in this fight, just two losers but one of them had to move on to the next round. Thank god it wasn't a draw, I can't imagine having to watch a 4th round of that. And thank you Frank or was it Ken Shamrock for telling me that Undereem it running away with this fight, how damn stupid can you be. And the thought of him actually getting paid for saying that is almost as bad as the fight.
I think many will feel Undereem won that fight but I think as people take a closer look at rounds 1 and 3, people might think twice. I think the numbers will show a much different result than what the fools at Showtime were commentating on. Again, I'm not saying Werdum won, but I am saying there wasn't anything even close to clear about Undereem winning that fight. It was a joke and I left this night very underimpressed.
