Veteran Ultimate Fighting Championship broadcaster Joe Rogan's latest comedy special, "Joe Rogan: Talking Monkeys in Space," makes its Comedy Central debut on March 27, and three days later, will be available on DVD, CD and via download at various retailers.

The one-hour broadcast airs at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

The standup special, filmed in Columbus, Ohio, during UFC 96 festivities in 2009, initially debuted on Spike TV last year.

It's the first comedy special produced by Spike TV and Zuffa LLC, the UFC's parent company. It covers Rogan's take on religion, Darwinism, gay marriage, marijuana use and more.

The CD version of the special contains 14 bonus tracks of Q&A with Rogan. The DVD version contains 25 minutes of never-before-seen footage from the special and 15 minutes of behind-the-scenes bonus material.

In addition to CD and DVD, it'll also be available from download-to-own platforms including iTunes and Amazon Video On Demand, as well as in standard and high definition versions on Xbox Live Marketplace, Zune and PlayStation Store.

Rogan, a UFC broadcaster since 2002, has done stand-up comedy since 1998. Although he's become synonymous with the UFC (as a PPV and Spike TV broadcaster, "UFC Wired" host and event emcee) and has had success in television (including "NewsRadio" and "Fear Factor"), Rogan maintains his first passion is comedy.

Rogan's first hour special, "Joe Rogan Live," premiered on Showtime in 2007 and is available on DVD. He released two critically acclaimed CDs, "Shiny Happy Jihad" (2007, Comedy Central Records) and "I'm Gonna Be Dead Some Day" (2000, Warner Bros. Records).
