Just When We Thought M-1 Global Couldn’t Get Any Greedier, Along Comes The Official Fedor iPhone App to Prove Us Wrong

(If you ever wondered exactly how far you are from Fedor, this app has your answer.)
I don’t know how we missed out on this announcement last week, but apparently a company has just released a new Fedor Emelianenko iPhone application to allow fans to keep up with what the Russian heavyweight is up to, you know, just in case you haven’t quite figured out how to use Google.
Here’s some info from the press release that was issued on April 12:

“The official app give fans around the world a look into the public life of an international sports icon. Users of the app have access to Fedor’s Twitter feed and the latest news from M-1 Global.
Want to know what’s next for Fedor? App users also have the opportunity to “Ask Fedor” questions through a special “app only” email account. The Fedor app also has a special media section with images, e-cards, entrance themes, videos, and a GPS feature.
“We are pleased to work with Fedor and M-1 Global on this incredible app. Fedor’s career is in its most interesting stage and what better place for fans to follow it than on their iPhone,” said Peter Klamka, President of Cephas Holding Corp which developed and markets the app.”
Some how I doubt that Fedor has access to that “exclusive” email account in Stary Oskol and I’d be surprised if he even knows what the hell an iPhone is or what an app does. The replies to fan questions will probably sound a lot more hipster and a lot less Russian philosopher than usual.
According to the company that developed the program, they are also in the process of making a Wanderlei Silva app as well as a social networking app for MMA fans called MMA Underboss. Let’s hope they’re better than their flagship Iron Shiek soundboard
